As Auburn junior Quinten Nevenhoven prepares for his return to the IHSA State Boys Tennis Tournament this weekend, we talked about his career and his immediate and long-range goals.
The immediate goal was easy: A state title.
After watching his sister place at state last fall as a freshman, he wants to raise the family bar. And it’s a bar that sits pretty high, as the is one branch of the area’s most successful tennis family, which includes the Marcials of Belvidere and Hatfields of Boylan.
