LPGA golfer Brittany Lincicome is preparing to become the fifth woman to play in a PGA Tournament. But before she does, she will headline the list of golfers at the 42nd Annual Rockford Pro-Am.

Lincicome joins 11 other golfers who were announced as professional participants in the July 18 event at Rockford Country Club.

On July 19, Lincicome will take part in the Barbasol Championship in Kentucky, joining Babe Didrikson Zaharias, Annika Sorenstam, Suzy Whaley and Michelle Wie as women who have played in a PGA event. Lincicome has won eight LPGA events in her career including two majors and the 2018 Pure Silk Bahamas Championship.

Also representing the LPGA at this year’s Rockford Pro-Am are Brittany Lang, Austin Ernst and Emma Talley. Other pros scheduled to play are Kevin Streelman, Scott Stallings, DA Points, Scott Langley, Troy Merritt, Ken Duke, David Hearn, Robert Streb and University of Illinois grad Nick Hardy.

The remaining pros will be announced later.

The Pro-Am joins one pro with an amateur foursome in a best-ball format. There are still some spots open for  amateur players. For more information call 815-877-5625 or go online to www.therockfordproam.com.
