It’s Week 4 in the NFL and bye weeks are starting to come into play. Here is a look at Jordan Goethe’s fantasy position rankings heading into the last weekend of September.

QUARTERBACKS

1) Patrick Mahomes vs Den
2) Tom Brady vs Mia
3) Aaron Rodgers* vs Buf
4) Drew Brees vs NYG
5) Phillip Rivers vs SF
6) Matt Ryan vs Cin
7) Deshaun Watson vs Ind
8) Ben Roethlisberger vs Bal
9) Ryan Fitzpatrick* vs Chi
10) Carson Wentz vs Ten
11) Andy Dalton vs Atl
12) Mathew Stafford vs Dal
13) Russell Wilson vs Ari
14) Ryan Tannehill vs NE
15) Andrew Luck vs Hou
16) Case Keenum vs KC
17) Joe Flacco vs Pit
18) Josh Allen vs GB
19) Eli Manning vs NO
20) Blake Bortles vs NYJ

— Matt Ryan has been outstanding the past two weeks at home and he will be back at home this weekend vs the Bengals, who have shown flashes on defense.

— Over the last two weeks, the Steelers have refused to run the ball with RB James Connor, forcing Ben Roethlisberger to throw more. So far Ben has produced QB1 numbers, and with this week being another home matchup vs the Ravens, I expect Ben to have another big game under the lights.

RUNNING BACKS
1) Alvin Kamara vs NYG
2) Melvin Gordon vs SF
3) Saquon Barkley vs NO
4) David Johnson vs Sea
5) Ezekiel Elliott vs Det
6) Jordan Howard vs TB
7) Tevin Coleman vs Cin
8) James Connor vs Bal

10) Carlos Hyde vs Oak
11) Jay Ajayi vs Ten
12) Leonard Fournette* vs NYJ

26) Dion Lewis vs Phi
27) Alfred Morris vs LAC
28) Derick Henry vs Phi

29) Kerryon Johnson vs Dal
30) Sony Michel vs Mia
31) Austin Ekeler vs SF
32) Bilal Powell vs Jax
33) Javorius Allen vs Pit
34) Jamaal Williams vs Buf
35) Peyton Barber vs Chi
36) Tarik Cohen vs TB
37) Chris Ivory vs GB
38) Nyheim Hines vs Hou
39) LeGarrette Blount vs Dal
40) Devonta Freeman* vs Cin

— I love Aaron Jones going forward. He averaged 7.0 yards per carry last week vs the Redskins and he’s averaging over 5 yards for his career. I think with Jones being back, it’s going to elevate fellow RB Jamaal Williams and the rest of that Packers backfield, forcing everyone else to perform
better.

— Another guy I like this week is Denver rookie RB Royce Freeman going up against Kansas City. Once the Broncos establish that passing game with WRs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders on the outside, it should open up the door for Freeman to run all over that Chiefs defense.

WIDE RECEIVER
1) Michael Thomas vs NYG
2) Antonio Brown vs Bal
3) DeAndre Hopkins* vs Ind
4) Odell Beckham Jr. vs NO
5) Mike Evans vs Chi
6) Keenan Allen* vs SF
7) Julio Jones* vs Cin
8) AJ Green vs Atl
9) Devante Adams vs Buf

10) Ju-Ju Smith Schuster vs Bal
11) Allen Robinson vs TB
12) Tyreek Hill vs Den
13) Jarvis Landry vs Oak
14) TY Hilton vs Hou
15) Demaryius Thomas vs KC
16) Emmanuel Sanders vs KC
17) Kenny Golladay vs Dal
18) Nelson Agholor vs Ten
19) Golden Tate vs Dal
20) Marvin Jones vs Dal
21) Tyler Boyd vs Atl
22) John Brown vs Pit
23) Will Fuller* vs Ind
24) Calvin Ridley vs Cin
25) Amari Cooper vs Cle
26) Michael Crabtree vs Pit
27) Larry Fitzgerald* vs Sea
28) Tyler Lockett vs Ari
29) Chris Hogan vs Mia
30) Kenny Stills vs NE
31) Sammy Watkins vs Den
32) Randall Cobb vs Buf
33) Sterling Shepard vs NO
34) Mike Williams vs SF
35) Geronimo Allison vs Buf
36) Chris Godwin vs Chi
37) Corey Davis vs Phi
38) DeSean Jackson vs Chi
39) Quincy Enunwa vs Jax
40) Keelan Cole vs NYJ

— Even with Alshon Jeffrey returning soon from injury, it still should take him a few weeks to get back into football shape. Therefore I still like Nelson Agholor’s upside as WR2 going forward. He’s still going to be heavily involved in that very explosive offense.

— I really like two of the top waiver wire adds this past week in Tyler Boyd and Calvin Ridley. They both have favorable matchups, with Boyd going up against a depleted Falcons secondary. And Ridley has had more targets than fellow WR Julio Jones in the last two weeks.

— After another consistent week by Geronimo Allison he should be owned in all PPR leagues. There’s a lot of upside,  especially with one of the best QBs in the league throwing him the ball in Aaron Rodgers.

TIGHT ENDS
1) Travis Kelce vs Den
2) Rob Gronkowski* vs Mia
3) Zach Ertz vs Ten
4) George Kittle vs LAC
5) Jared Cook vs Cle
6) Jimmy Graham* vs Buf
7) Eric Ebron vs Hou
8) OJ Howard vs Chi
9) Trey Burton vs TB
10) Vance McDonald vs Bal
11) Tyler Eifert vs Atl
12) Jack Doyle* vs Hou
13) Ricky Seals-Jones vs Sea
14) David Njoku vs Oak
15) Will Dissly vs Ari
16) Austin Hooper vs Cin
17) Benjamin Watson vs NYG
18) Austin Seferian-Jenkins* vs NYJ

19) Rhett Ellison vs NO
20) Antonio Gates vs SF

— Jimmy Garoppolo is done for the season, and now second-year QB CJ Beathard will step in. Beathard will look to establish his safety net early and I believe that guy will be George
Kittle, who has performed well this year. Remember these two guys played together back in college at Iowa so they already have an established connection.

— Eric Ebron was targeted 11 times last week vs the Eagles, most on the team. QB Andrew Luck is starting to trust Ebron more than just in the red zone, which makes him a better bet than  Jack Doyle going forward.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS

1) Chargers vs SF
2) Jaguars vs NYJ
3) Eagles vs Ten
4) Browns vs Oak
5) Texans vs Ind
6) Lions vs Dal
7) Packers vs Buf
8) Seahawks vs Ari
9) Bears vs TB
10) Jets vs Jax

— I really like the Cowboys vs Russell Wilson and company. If you’re looking for another streaming
option, maybe check out the Dolphins or Bengals.

KICKERS
1) Justin Tucker vs Pit
2) Will Lutz vs NYG

3) Stephen Gostkowski vs Mia
4) Matt Prater vs Dal
5) Matt Bryant vs Cin
6) Harrison Butker vs Den
7) Mason Crosby vs Buf
8) Chris Boswell vs Bal
9) Robbie Gould vs LAC
10) Adam Vinatieri vs Hou
