The NFL trade deadline came and went earlier this week, and it will greatly affect the fantasy world.

How? Check out Jordan Goethe’s rankings.

(Bye Week: Bengals, Jaguars, Eagles, Colts, Giants, Cardinals.)

— Ryan Fitzpatrick was one of the highest waiver wire claims this week. He came in late last week and led the Bucs in their fourth-quarter comeback vs the Bengals that fell just short. If you’re in need of a QB, grab Fitzpatrick.

— Mitchell Trubisky is a guy I would sit this weekend. He has a very tough road matchup vs an
underrated Bills defense that kept Tom Brady in check on Monday.

— Alex Smith has a nice matchup at home vs Atlanta, which has struggled to defend the opposing QB
positon this year. Smith is a good streaming option.

37) Mike Davis vs LAC
38) LeGarrette Blount vs Min
39) Kenjon Barner vs GB
40) Devontae Booker vs Hou

— I like both Chris Carson and Adrian Peterson this week. Carson ran really well last week at Detroit. You could see how much that helped QB Russell Wilson move the ball. Look for Carson  to continue that vs the Chargers.

— Adrian Peterson is the heart and soul of that Redskins offense. With Chris Thompson still not 100% healthy, the Redskins offense should continue to be ran through AP.

— If Javorius Allen is available in your league, pick him up. Two other backup RBs who could get more
opportunities and more playing time are Atlanta’s Ito Smith and New York’s Trenton Cannon. Put them on your watch list.

22) Demaryius Thomas vs Hou
23) Michael Crabtree vs Pit
24) Josh Gordon vs GB
25) Calvin Ridley vs Wsh
26) Chris Godwin vs Car
27) Courtland Sutton vs Hou
28) Tyler Lockett vs LAC
29) Sammy Watkins vs Cle
30) Allen Robinson vs Buf
31) DeSean Jackson vs Car

32) Amari Cooper vs Ten
33) Doug Baldwin vs LAC
34) DeVante Parker vs NYJ
35) Tyrell Williams vs Sea
36) Corey Davis vs Dal
37) Taylor Gabriel vs Buf
38) DJ Moore vs TB
39) Randall Cobb vs NE
40) Danny Amendola vs NYJ

— Lions sent trusted WR Golden Tate to the Eagles at the trade deadline, so now Detroit will look for
more production out of their other two starting receivers Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones. Look for
their roles to increase big time.

— The Broncos moved on from their franchise wideout Demaryius Thomas by sending him to Houston. Now rookie Courtland Sutton will get more routs and hopefully more looks from QB Case Keenum. I love Sutton’s upside going forward; the guy is a big play waiting to happen. He just needed more opportunities. Now  he is going to get them.

— Look for DeVante Parker and DJ Moore to have bigger roles in their respective offenses as well.

Tight Ends
1) Travis Kelce vs Cle
2) Greg Olsen vs TB
3) Rob Gronkowski vs GB
4) OJ Howard vs Car

11) Vance McDonald vs Bal
12) Chris Herndon vs Mia
13) Ed Dickson vs LAC
14) Benjamin Watson vs LAR
15) Cameron Brate vs Car
16) Vernon Davis vs Atl
17) Charles Clay vs Chi
18) Jeff Heuerman vs Hou
19) Mike Gesicki vs NYJ
20) Michael Roberts vs Min

— Ed Dickson returned from injury last week and immediately made a big impact for Seattle. Look for that to continue.

— Rookie Chris Herndon has received more looks over the past couple weeks, and with the Jets
dealing with a lot of offensive injuries, look for Herndon to get even more involved in that offense.

Defenses/Special Teams
1) Bears vs Buf
2) Texans vs Den
3) Cowboys vs Ten
4) Chiefs vs Cle
5) Redskins vs Atl
6) Panthers vs TB

— I really like the Bills defense this week at home vs Chicago. Three other streaming options for defenses would be the Redskins, Chiefs and Cowboys.
