Hononegah senior Jordan King scored 32 points Tuesday night in the Indians’ 76-45 sectional semifinal victory over Crystal Lake Central. That effort pushed her past Boylan’s Lee Lampley to become the NIC-10’s all-time top scorer.

King had already held the title of the NIC-10’s best female scorer when she passed Brea Edwards back in December. Edwards had held the mantel since 2011 with 2,130 career points.

The next milestone was Lampley’s 2,419, which looked like a rather tall task at the time. But King, who has averaged just under 21 points per game this season, caught the former Titan on Tuesday. She now sits at 2,421 points with at least one more game to play – Thursday’s Belvidere North Sectional final against Boylan.
