With the school year coming to an end, so is our Sportsfan 1330 Student/Athlete of the Week presentation.

We close out the 2018-19 school year with North Boone senior Connor Nolen, a three-sport athlete for the Vikings.

Hey I’m Randy Ruef of Sportsfan 1330 and today I’m at North Boone High School to present our final Student/Athlete of the Week Award for the 2018-19 school year. This award is brought to us by the great folks of Forest City Dental.

The Student/Athlete of the Week Award – which is presented by Forest City Dental –  honors those athletes who make major contributions in the classroom, their schools and their communities. And Connor fits that description to a ‘T’.

While juggling three sports (football, basketball and baseball), Connor also carries a 3.85 grade point average, which of course puts him on National Honor Society.

And if that’s not enough, he stays very involved in his school. Connor is a member of Student Council, Best Buddies and  Pit Crew.

Student/Athlete of the Week will return in September for another nine months of honoring and recognizing the best of the best in our area schools.
