Fantasy Football Rankings: Week 9

QB

Mathew Stafford should be a must start this week, he has been on fire as of late and has a great match-up vs Oakland. Stafford has scored 23 plus points in his last two games and now has a great match-up playing against the 31st ranked team vs opposing QBs in fantasy this year.

I know the last time the Texans and Jaguars played it was a very boring low scoring game. This week will be different as the Texans are ranked dead last vs the pass this season, 32nd against opposing QBs in fantasy this year. Roll with Minshew!

RB

If James Connor can’t play this weekend, Jaylen Samuels who was activated off injured reserve earlier this week would be a great streaming option this week if he’s still available in your league. Colts may be ranked 7th vs RBs this season but the Steelers love to utilize their young RBs especially when Samuels is an excellent pass catcher.

Jordan Howard should have a lot to prove this weekend as he gets to face his former team for the first time. There’s something about those revenge games that catch my eye. The Bears have not played well against the run either this season as they currently sit ranked 24th vs opposing RBs.

WR

DJ Chark, DK Metcalf and Michael Gallup all have great match-ups this weekend. DJ Chark will be matched up with the 32nd ranked secondary in Houston white DK Metcalf will get to battle the 31st ranked team vs opposing WRs in fantasy, Tampa Bay. Finally Michael Gallup should have some real nice match-ups vs the Giants secondary especially with Amari Cooper banged up.

I would avoid Terry McLaurin this week. Starting QB Case Keenum will not be playing which will force the Redskins to use their backup QB. Not to mention the Bills are a really good underrated defense. Tough match-up for McLaurin and the Redskins receivers.

TE

Jonnu Smith is a sneaky streaming option this weekend vs Carolina. The Panthers are ranked 10th vs TE this season but Jonnu Smith knows how to get open and the Titans will find a way to get him the ball.

Also QB Sam Darnold loves his TEs, another sneaky play could be either Ryan Griffin or Chris Herndon, whoever ends up starting. It’s a safe bet playing a player vs Miami.
