The playoff race was really heating up, and the IceHogs were in the mix.

Rockford was tied with the Chicago Wolves for the final playoff spot in the AHL Central division with just over a month to go.

And with the snap of a finger, the hockey season was put on hold.

Fortunately, we don’t have to go without watching hockey for long.

Starting tonight, the Rockford IceHogs will be replaying broadcasts of their classic games on their Facebook page.  Each broadcast will coincide with the originally-scheduled opponent that the IceHogs were supposed to play on that night.

Tues 4/7 – IceHogs vs Stars @ 7pm – played on 12/20
Weds 4/8 – IceHogs vs San Antonio @7pm – Chicago Blackhawks Night (2/7)
Sat 4/11 – IceHogs vs Wild – Rockford goes to a shootout after being down 4-0 (2/16/19)
