Let’s Help Rockford Peach “Sis” Waddell Celebrate Her 90th Birthday

Helen “Sis” Waddell, one of our beloved Rockford Peaches will be celebrating her 90th birthday this week! “Sis” currently lives at the Heritage Woods Assisted Living Facility in Rockford. Her family and friends are asking the local community to show their support and love for the Rockford Peaches (and of course “Sis” herself) by holding a special Birthday Parade outside of her home this Saturday, April 25th.

Participants can drive by Heritage Woods using the circular drive in front of the building while “Sis” watches from her window. Participants are encouraged to decorate their cars, make signs that they can hold out the window as they drive by and there will even be a card drop box available if you wish to deliver a personalized birthday card for Sis.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 2pm on Saturday, April 25th at Heritage Woods Senior Living 202 North Showplace Drive across from Showplace 16 Theaters on E. State Street. (Just north of the old Clock Tower Resort)
