Take a Stroll in Belvidere on Buchanan Street TONIGHT

Buchanan Street Stroll is BACK and the weather is going to be beautiful. Any excuse to get out of the house and not die from boredom… we’ll take it! The City of Belvidere is inviting everyone to come out and enjoy some great food and drinks while listening to LIVE music.

The stroll is on June 27th from 5 pm until 11 pm, so if you’re having festival withdrawals, this might just do the trick! And according to their Facebook, this won’t just be a one-time thing either! It looks like they have bands lined up for most of the summer.

• The bands will play on the new Midland States Bank stage that will be placed on the grassy area across from Belvidere City Hall.
• Belvidere will block off every other parking space in the city hall parking lot so that space is left for people to set up lawn chairs- enforcing social distancing.
• Staff will be on-site to guarantee parking spaces are adhered to and that socially distanced picnic tables are not moved.
• Alcohol will still be allowed outside but not in the parking lot area.
• Limited food trucks will be set up along Buchanan Street.
• Masks shall be worn while walking through the festival grounds or standing in line for food or beverages.
• Masks are NOT required while social distancing at your own picnic table.
• Families must be either at their own picnic table or in a parking space when not getting food or beverages.
