As we all know, drive-in movie theaters have been brought back since the pandemic. Now, as part of their phased reopening plan, AMC has announced they will reopen the Rockford location next week, August 20th.
The theater chain says they do have a health and sanitation program in place including seat blocking, limiting the amount of tickets being sold, extra showtimes, HEPA vacuums, and electrostatic sprayers.
Out of 100 theaters that are set to reopen, Showplace 16 is one of them but Machesney Park is NOT a part of this phase.

- Dine-In Yorktown 18
