Lutheran-Illinois State-Jacksonville Jaguars Rookie RB James Robinson

Fantasy owners were very pleased with James Robinson’s performance over the weekend as he accounted for 2 of the Jaguars 3 touchdowns in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Robinson was a force to be reckoned with on the field repeatedly running over defenders and making them look silly. Robinson finished the day with 119 yards on the ground to go along with his rushing TD on team-high 22 carriers. Also adding 4 catches for 18 yards and another touchdown through the air. In fact Robinson’s stellar performance on Sunday made him get nominated for the NFL’s rookie of the week award! Jacksonville lost another tough one to the Chargers 39-29 falling to 1-6 on the season but now the Jaguars will have time to rest this coming weekend as the team finally hits their bye week and will get time to prepare for the final stretch of the season.

*Bonus Note: After last Sunday RB James Robinson now joins an exclusive club of other talented RBs such as Marcus Allen, Billy Sims, Joe Cribbs, Ricky Watters & Saquon Barkley to have at least 475+ rushing yards, 225+ receiving yards and 6 total touchdowns in his first 7 career games.    Credit goes to Mike Garrigan (Channel 23) for that stat

Boylan Titan-Wisconsin-Platteville-New Orleans Saints-Arizona Cardinals TE Dan Arnold

Wild game in the desert on Sunday night, all the stars came out to play for the big one between Seattle & Arizona. Dan Arnold shined in the game catching 2 passes for 57 yards on 3 targets! Arnold also had a crucial defensive interference penalty called against the defense when QB Kyler Murray looked for his big TE in the back on the endzone that set up Arizona at the 1 yard line where RB Kenyan Drake was able to punch it in. The Cardinals went on to win the huge game at home vs their division rival Seattle Seahawks late in OT, 37-34 the final. Arnold will have time to rest up this week as Arizona has their bye week but will return to the action the following week to play the Dolphins.

Boylan Titans-Northwestern Wildcat-Green Bay Packers DL Dean Lowry

The Packers got back in the win column on Sunday after their 35-20 victory over the Houston Texans. Lowry finished the game with just 2 total tackles including 1 solo. Lowry played great in the game and that may not reflect in the stat sheet but he helped the Packers hold dual-threat QB Deshaun Watson to just 38 rushing yards and held the Texans to just 79 total rushing yards. Great all around win for Dean Lowry & the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay will wrap up their season series vs the Vikings this weekend at home, 12pm kickoff and you can catch that game on Fox.

At the College Level:

Harlem Huskies-Syracuse Orange DL Joshua Black

The Syracuse defense had their hands full last Saturday, attempting to slow down the Nation’s #1 overall team the Clemson Tigers. It got ugly as Clemson was able to run away with the game beating the Syracuse Orange 47-21. Joshua Black finished the game with 4 total tackles including 2 solo. Syracuse has to have a short memory because now the team welcomes in Wake Forest this week for a Saturday afternoon showdown.
