Bush Construction, a company located in Davenport, Iowa, will develop a six-story building called Rockford Library Lofts at 227 N. Wyman Street. The plan for the building includes a riverfront restaurant, retail space, underground parking and 85 apartments.

The project is one of 11 “shovel ready” projects that Gov. JB Pritzker announced recently would be getting a share of $11 million in Rebuild Illinois capital funds to support economic development across the state.
