It wasn’t a unanimous vote but the Rockford city council passed a hookah ordinance, some alderpersons are excited about it saying this will bring a new venture to the city if done in a responsible way. But others are saying differently.
“If it involves smoking or other activities that are just bad activities I don’t think the city should be supporting that,” said Alderperson Venita Hervey.
