HBO Max Is All Like, “You Copycats”: Film studio Lionsgate is teaming up with subscription platform Starz for a multi-year exclusive output deal for all its theatrical releases. This means that John Wick, Borderlands, White Bird: A Wonder Story, Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret and the Hunger Games Prequelwill premiere there simultaneously with movie theaters, likely taking cue from HBO Max, who released WonderWoman 1984 late in 2020.
