Just in time for fall, a local couple in Freeport has opened a new apple orchard. After closing his flower shop last year, Co-Owner Mike Demeester wanted to follow his dreams of opening up his own apple orchard and so he did.

Offering more than just apples and delicious treats, Demeester Apple Orchard and Greenhouse, located at 1706 S. Baileyville Road, will offer photo backdrops, games, novelty items, fruit preserves, barbeque sauces, flowers, shrubs, succulents, and so much more.
