ROCKFORD — Hard Rock is known for its live music shows, and now it’s delivering that at its Rockford Casino.

This week Rockford Casino – A Hard Rock Opening Act, 610 N. Bell School Road, kicked off its weekly Sunday jazz brunch and WINESday musical events.

Both events are held in the Rock River Bar & Grill, the interim casino’s upscale casual restaurant.

The Sunday jazz brunch is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekly. The brunch menu includes chicken and waffles, eggs benedict “prosciutto,” breakfast pizza, steak and eggs, avocado toast and more.

The midweek WINESday events features all bottles on the casino’s extensive wine list half-priced. The live music plays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Wednesday.

A Hard Rock Opening Act, which welcomed its first guests on Nov. 10, has 635 slots and electronic table games. It also has two restaurants, the upscale Rock River Bar & Grill, and the casual Midway Bar.

The casino hopes to break ground this spring on the full casino resort at East State Street and Interstate 90. Construction is expected to last 18-24 months.
