ROCKFORD — An annual neighborhood bicycle festival and block party that brings hundreds of people to the city’s North End is back for its 12th year this Saturday.

Tour De North End will bring bicyclists to more than 15 businesses this year to collect passport stamps for the chance to win prizes at the block party Saturday evening.

The event is designed to show the North End is a bike-friendly neighborhood with a diverse business district. It also raises awareness about bicycle safety and encourages cyclists and motorists to share the road.
