An under the radar type pick I like this week is Baker Mayfield. Sure the Browns might be a little banged up right now but their still competing for a playoff spot and they have a great match-up vs Arizona this weekend. The Cardinals are struggling on defense; currently the team is ranked 32nd vs opposing QBs in fantasy so far this season. When does Baker play at his best? He plays at his best when he has a chip on his shoulder. This year we haven’t really seen that but remember back in College in his Texas Tech days current Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury was his coach back then and he was one of the big reasons he left and transferred to Oklahoma. Something tells me Baker Mayfield is out to prove Kliff Kingsbury wrong one more time.

I would avoid Josh Allen this week vs Pittsburgh. The Steelers defense has been legit this season and Josh Allen has struggled against top tier defenses so far in his career. Allen might have gotten you to the playoffs but it’s time to look for better options like a Ryan Tannehill for example vs Houston.

The 49ers have A LOT of good running-backs. It’s a tricky situation trying to navigate, who should you trust Tevin Coleman? Raheem Mostert? Matt Breida? With Breida possibly returning this week from injury I still don’t trust him to be healthy enough to be the guy right away. Tevin Coleman has struggled as of late and his production has fallen off. I think you have to continue using the hot hand even if Mostert isn’t the clear cut starter. The Niners love to run the ball and expect them to use Mostert more and more going forward.

Is Alvin Kamara the biggest bust in fantasy so far this season? I think Odell Beckham Jr. and David Johnson might have something to say about that but Kamara is right up in that conversation. Kamara has only scored 2 touchdowns this season…. 2!! As a #1 RB that’s unacceptable, Latavius Murray has scored more than Kamara, Taysom Hill has scored more than Kamara. Let that sink in for a minute. Alvin Kamara has not scored since Week 3 but you have to keep him in your lineup right? Unless you have a deep RB core most fantasy owners cannot afford to take Kamara out of their lineup and risk the chance of him going off for a career day. I think us Kamara owners have to ride it out even in the playoffs; we live or die with our first round pick.

  • Golden Tate vs Mia
  • Breshad Perriman vs Det
  • Cole Beasley vs Pit
  • Jamison Crowder vs Bal

QB Eli Manning is back in the starting role once again and even though it’s the Giants they still have a great match-up this week vs the Dolphins. Miami is down to their 4th and 5th string cornerbacks so stream Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate if you can!

If you’re in a deeper league maybe check out Breshad Perriman and Justin Watson from Tampa Bay. Star wideout Mike Evans is done for the season which means Chris Godwin will take over as the #1 guy. Perriman will play mostly in the slot while Watson will take over as the other outside receiver. After Mike Evans left the game last week Justin Watson had 8 targets including catching his first career touchdown. We all know how QB Jameis Winston can play but with the match-up this weekend vs the Lions I’m buying this Tampa Bay offense. Give me all three of those wide receivers, plenty of opportunity to go around.

TE

  • Travis Kelce vs Den
  • George Kittle vs Atl
  • Zach Ertz vs Wsh
  • Hunter Henry vs Min
  • Mark Andrews* vs NYJ
  • Darren Waller vs Jax
  • Jared Cook vs Ind
  • Tyler Higbee vs Dal
  • Jack Doyle vs NO

  • Kyle Rudolph vs LAC
  • Dallas Goedert vs Wsh
  • Ian Thomas vs Sea
  • OJ Howard vs Det
  • Jonnu Smith vs Hou
  • Mike Gesicki vs NYG
  • Jason Witten vs LAR

I love David Njoku this week vs Arizona. The Cardinals are the worst team in the league when it comes to defending the TE position. Arizona is ranked 32nd allowing an average of 18 fantasy points per week to the TE position!! The NFL average is right around 10. Stream David Njoku this week.
