Come out for a good night of food, friends and LAUGHS. Show starts at 830 pm, get there early for seating.
Host Kevin Haas is a full-time journalist that hails from the great mighty city of Rockford Illinois. When he’s not in the News Tower, he’s at home thinking of weird stuff to say to strangers. Kevin can be seen in bars and comedy clubs all over the Midwest.
Guest Feature Tom Wrobel after almost 20 years as an encyclopedia editor and 5 as a marketing director, Tom Wrobel thought, “Why don’t I tell some jokes now?” Tom performs throughout the Midwest, and appears regularly at Zanies Rosemont and the Kenosha Comedy Club.
Main Feature Eric Smith is a young Milwaukee comic who talks about family, school, and his delivery job; delivers jokes as well. Opened up for Nate Craig, performed in the 2019 Cream City Comedy Festival, 2019 Milwaukee Comedy Festival, and venues all over the greater city of Milwaukee.
Headliner J Tyler Menz is one sweet pickle. Tyler’s humor draws on his experiences as an elementary school teacher, stories about his family, and his deep contempt of how painfully white he is. He has worked with a wide range of comedians, including Darryl Lenox, Neil Hamburger, and Andy Kindler, and has toured as the featured act for Christopher Titus, Todd Barry, and Steve-O (which was cool because they have matching tattoos). In addition to performing stand up, Tyler produces and hosts many shows in the Milwaukee area including The Goodnight Milwaukee Show (sketch), Voyager (improv), and the Visitors Guide to Springfield podcast. He has also been seen performing at The Milwaukee Comedy Fest, Van’s Warped Tour, The 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, The Cream City Comedy Festival, and Gilda’s Laughfest. Tyler enjoys kale, farmers markets, his 1997 Hyundai Sonata, and reassuring people that he isn’t a snitch. Seriously guys, he is not a snitch.
