Harlem senior Rachel Gander set new standards of success for the Huskies' swimming program.

In the last 40-plus seasons, the Harlem boys basketball program had won only two regionals until last Friday night, when the Huskies knocked off Crystal Lake Central to advance to this week's Rock Valley College Sectional.  Second-year coach Mike Winters talked about the historic season and how far his team can go from here.

The Harlem girls bowling team claimed its second straight national championship, and one of its members - Kayla Verstraete - took home the individual national crown.
