Former Hononegah and Wisconsin star lineman Steve Stark is hosting one of his Trench Training football camps in Rockton on June 11. The camp focuses on offensive and defensive lineman training and will be free, thanks to the sponsorship of Andy Bufalo and Bufalo Contracting.

The Jefferson football program has a new coach. Jacob Arnold, who served as JV coach from 2014-2016 and as assistant offensive coordinator last fall, has been promoted to replace Tony Ambrogio, who left the program to take over at Lutheran.

Former Chicago Bear Al Harris was in Loves Park on March 23 as part of a fundraiser for the Northern Illinois Spartans youth football team. He took time to talk with Dean Ervin and Randy Ruef about his career and his life after football.
