The Midwest Wildcats basketball program, which is the largest AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball program in Northern Illinois and also based out of Rockford, has been selected by Under Armour to play on their Girls UAA High School Rise Circuit and Boys/Girls UAA Futures Circuit. Chuck Lynde, who has been involved in the Wildcats program since its inception 17 years ago, talks about the added perks this offers, including giving local young boys and girls the opportunities to travel to bigger tournaments, face tougher competition and get more exposure.

In his third season with the Harlem Huskies, baseball coach Scott McCloy has another strong team that will challenge for the conference crown.
