After several years as a very successful women's basketball coach and athletic director at Rock Valley College, Misty Opat is leaving for an opportunity to coach the women's team at Div. I Chicago State University. She talks about how she ended up at Chicago State and her memories of RVC.

 

The Midwest Wildcats basketball program, which is the largest AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball program in Northern Illinois and also based out of Rockford, has been selected by Under Armour to play on their Girls UAA High School Rise Circuit and Boys/Girls UAA Futures Circuit. Chuck Lynde, who has been involved in the Wildcats program since its inception 17 years ago, talks about the added perks this offers, including giving local young boys and girls the opportunities to travel to bigger tournaments, face tougher competition and get more exposure.
