The 40 th Annual POLISH FEST is being held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 on the St.
Stanislaus Church Grounds: 201 Buckbee Street, Rockford, Illinois. The public is invited and as always, there is no entrance fee.
A Polish/English Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Church will open the Fest.
Entertainment throughout the day will be provided by the I.P.A. Band and Sebastian
Kikolski “DJ Seba” from Chicago, IL. We will also feature The Syrena -Polish Folk
Song and Dance Ensemble from Milwaukee, WI, who will perform at 12:30 PM;
2:00 PM; and 3:30 PM. A children group “Krakowiaczek” from our very own Polish Language School will perform at 4:30 pm.
Many festival-type foods will be available, along with ethnic Polish offerings: 4 different types of pierogi, potato pancakes, polish sausage, and sauerkraut, Polish beef and Polish
Pastries just to name a few. Polish beer, domestic beer and wine will also be available.
There will be games for children. Adults can try their luck at Bingo and our Basket
Raffles. Cash raffles will be held during course of the day.
The John Paul II Cultural Center in the former school building will be open for visitors to
view two rooms of artifacts from Poland and Polish School of Rockford history on
display.
