NEW BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT AT LOCKWOOD PARK AUGUST 24, 2024 — Rockford Park District’s Lockwood Park will host a new Back to School Fun Fair on the Farm event on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm, with the opportunity for unique back-to-school photos with a live cow from 1 pm to 3:45 pm.
For the photos, chalkboard signs with grade levels to hold will be available. Photos will be provided as a digital images for participants to use as they’d like. Fifteen-minute $15 photo session time slots (two poses per session) can be reserved in advance through the link on the events calendar listing at https://lockwoodpark.com/ or at 815-987-8809, and walk-ups are welcome, subject to availability. For the photos, children must be age four or older to stand alone beside the cow, and children under age four must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. There is a maximum of six people per photo, and one time slot per group/family.
