The Rock River Valley Video Game Convention comes to the Rockford area for the first time. R2V2 features special guests Cissy Jones and Courtenay Taylor. The convention will have 17 vendor tables selling video games from every console generation, several extremely rare consoles and games available for guests to play while attending the event, as well as virtual reality headsets and arcade cabinets.

Cissy Jones is an award-winning actress, known most-notably for her work as Delilah in Campo Santo‘s Firewatch. The role earned her a BAFTA award in 2017. Cissy has lent her voice to several other notable video games. You can hear her in Darksiders III as Fury, Life is Strange as Joyce Price, Telltale’s The Walking Dead as Katjaa, and countless other games.

Courtenay Taylor is known mostly for her work as the female lead in 2015’s Fallout 4, which earned her a BTVA Video Game Voice Acting nomination the following year. She’s also featured in popular games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Rage 2, Destiny 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series.
