Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity (RAHFH) is excited to announce its inaugural Parade of Homes event, set to take place on October 21, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the parking lot of Lincolnwood Baptist Church located at 705 N Springfield Ave, Rockford, IL 61101. This family- friendly event promises a day filled with fun activities for all ages, showcasing our commitment to building stronger communities through affordable housing.

1.Food Trucks: Satisfy your taste buds with an array of delicious offerings from local food trucks, serving
up a variety of culinary delights.

2. Button Making: Get creative and make your own custom buttons! This engaging activity is perfect for
kids and adults alike, adding a personalized touch to your day.

3.Candy IT rick or Treating: Get into the spirit of the season with candy and trick-or-treating stations,
offering sweet treats for all the little goblins and ghouls in attendance.

4. Neighborhood Tour: Explore our new neighborhood and witness the transformative power of
affordable housing. Learn about the impact of RAHFH’s work on our community.

5.Habitat for Humanity Home Tour: Step inside one of our nearly completed Habitat for Humanity homes
and discover how these homes are built with love and dedication by our dedicated volunteers.
