The Rockford Area Pride Committee is pleased to announce the first, official, Rockford Area Pride Parade to take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024. While the Rockford Area is host to a wide range of LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and amenities, an official parade has proved elusive.  The team is now working to change that, and make the Rockford Area Pride Parade of 2024 not only a first for the region, but one of the best, ever, in the nation!

The theme for this year is Celebrate, Remember, Unite! This theme embraces the fact that Pride is a celebration of person, being, love, and expression; but, we remember our history and struggles, and unite to continue the fight for equality and progress.

The Rockford Area Pride Committee has partnered with The LIAM Foundation to present the 2024 Rockford Area Pride Parade. Our hope is to raise funds not only for continuing Pride events, but also to support the important work spearheaded by LIAM.
