The 35th Annual SwedishAmerican State Street Mile is the “Fastest Mile in the Midwest.” The race starts on East State Street close to the entrance to SwedishAmerican Hospital. The point to point course is downhill and fast, with the finish on the State Street bridge. At 7 p.m., there will be an awards ceremony.
