— I love Alex Smith’s matchup this week vs Colts. Indianapolis is a bad team and I’m not sure they will be able to stop anybody this year. Smith played very well vs Arizona last week, using a lot of short throws while letting his receivers do a lot of the work.

— Ben Roethlisberger proved you can never trust him on the road, especially after what happened a week ago vs. Cleveland (four interceptions, two fumbles). But this week he’s home against the Chiefs’ poor secondary.

— We all saw what rookie Sam Darnold did on the road last week to Detroit. Now the Lions have to travel to the West Coast to face Jimmy Garoppolo. Look for a rebound game from Jimmy G.

— This is the second straight week O’ve talked about James Connor, but after seeing him perform in that offense, Connor has a top-7 upside going forward as long as he stays healthy and his teammate Le’Veon Bell keeps holding out.

— I love the matchup for both of Washington’s running backs. Look for the Redskins to do something that was similar to last week’s results, where both Adrian Peterson and Chris
Thompson had great games. I expect the same from them vs. the Colts.

—  I’m not complete sold on the Jay Ajayi and the rest of the Eagles’ backfield, but I have Ajayi ranked high this week based on his chances against a terrible Bucs defense.

— If I’m a Larry Fitzgerald owner, I would be a little concerned with the matchup this week vs the Rams. It’s a tough secondary and I do not trust QB Sam Bradford at all. Look for a better option if you have one.

— Nelson Agholor has a great matchup against the Bucs. QB Nick Foles targeted him a lot last
week, and now the Bucs lost another key piece to their secondary in CB Vernon Hargraves.

— Cooper Kupp should be in your starting lineup every week now. QB Jared Goff will find a way to get him the ball in the slot, especially since Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks both draw so much attention on the outside.

— The Vikings defense is tough, but George Kittle was open a lot down the field vs them last week.

— Jared Cook’s matchups only get better from here on out. The Broncos defense cannot guard the TE position to save their lives. QB Derek Carr seemed to have found his safety net, which is good news for Cook owners.

— I love Ricky Seals-Jones vs the Rams. Jared Cook tore up that defense on Monday night and the Cardinals showed last week that they want to get Seals-Jones more involved in the passing game.
