We’ve reached Week 7 of the NFL season, and adjusting your roster just got a little more difficult.

It starts with the fact that now there are four teams on a bye – Packers, Steelers, Raiders, Seahawks – instead of two. And those four teams boast some valuable fantasy studs.

And then there’s the action on the field in recent weeks.

After back-to-back poor performances by the Jaguars’ defense, should you be scared to start your opposing offensive players against them anymore?

And with the season-ending injury to star RB Devonta Freeman, how high is his replacement – Tevin
Coleman’s – ceiling?

Sportsfan’s own Jordan Goethe helps you out with the last position rankings.

QUARTERBACK
1) Patrick Mahomes vs Cin
2) Jared Goff vs SF
3) Tom Brady vs Chi
4) Matt Ryan vs NYG
5) Kirk Cousins vs NYJ
6) Carson Wentz vs Car
7) Drew Brees vs Bal
8) Cam Newton vs Phi
9) Andy Dalton vs KC
10) Phillip Rivers vs Ten
11) Jameis Winston vs Cle
12) Mitchell Trubisky vs NE
13) Mathew Stafford vs Mia
14) Andrew Luck vs Buf
15) Deshaun Watson vs Jax
16) Alex Smith vs Dal
17) Dak Prescott vs Wsh
18) Baker Mayfield vs TB
19) Eli Manning vs Atl

20) Joe Flacco vs NO

–Even though Jameis Winston had a great performance last week vs Atlanta, the Bucs were trailing for most of the game and were forced to throw the ball.  I don’t think that will be case this weekend against the Browns. Winston will have a good game, but not the same numbers he put up a week ago.

— This Bills’ pass defense is legit. Opposing QBs have struggled against Buffalo, especially as of late.
The Bills are ranked 3rd overall versus the quarterback position. I know Andrew Luck has been slinging the ball all over the field, but that will not be the case this weekend. If you can, look for a better option.

RUNNING BACKS
1) Todd Gurley vs SF
2) Melvin Gordon vs Ten
3) Saquon Barkley vs Atl
4) Alvin Kamara vs Bal
5) Joe Mixon vs KC
6) Christian McCaffrey vs Phi
7) Ezekiel Elliott vs Wsh
8) Tevin Coleman vs NYG
9) Kareem Hunt vs Cin
10) James White vs Chi
11) Sony Michel vs Chi
12) Mark Ingram II vs Bal
13) Carlos Hyde vs TB
14) LeSean McCoy vs Ind
15) TJ Yeldon vs Hou
16) Matt Breida vs LAR
17) Kerryon Johnson vs Mia
18) Corey Clement vs Car

19) Chris Thompson vs Dal
20) Adrian Peterson vs Dal
21) Wendell Smallwood vs Car
22) Nyheim Hines vs Buf
23) Isaiah Crowell vs Min
24) Tarik Cohen vs NE
25) Alex Collins vs NO
26) Jordan Howard vs NE
27) Kenyan Drake vs Det
28) Dalvin Cook vs NYJ
29) Bilal Powell vs Min
30) Austin Ekeler vs Ten
31) Dion Lewis vs LAC
32) Latavius Murray vs NYJ
33) Javorius Allen vs NO
34) Lamar Miller vs Jax
35) Duke Johnson Jr. vs TB
36) Marlon Mack vs Buf
37) Ito Smith vs NYG
38) Frank Gore vs Det
39) Alfred Morris vs LAR
40) Ronald Jones vs Cle

— I love Tevin Coleman’s upside going forward. Yes the Falcons might be trailing in a lot of games this season,
but there will be a lot of shootouts and more chances for Coleman to garner bigtime fantasy points,
especially in PPR leagues. Now Tevin doesn’t have the greatest track record of producing when he has been
the lead back, but this year is a different situation. As long as he stays healthy, this is Coleman’s backfield
with Devonta Freeman being ruled out for the season.

— Tarik Cohen has three games this season where he has produced very good numbers, which are three more than you can say for fellow RB Jordan Howard. Last week pretty much draws the line for me; the Bears’ offense just refuses to use Howard like he has been used in the past. Cohen has more upside going forward.

WIDE RECEIVER
1) Adam Thielen vs NYJ
2) Julio Jones vs NYG
3) Tyreek Hill vs Cin
4) Michael Thomas vs Bal
5) AJ Green vs KC
6) DeAndre Hopkins vs Jax
7) Odell Beckham Jr. vs Atl
8) Keenan Allen vs Ten
9) Robert Woods vs SF
10) Mike Evans vs Cle
11) Brandin Cooks vs SF
12) Jarvis Landry vs TB
13) Stefon Diggs vs NYJ
14) Kenny Golladay vs Mia
15) Julian Edelman vs Chi
16) Golden Tate vs Mia
17) Tyler Boyd vs Cin
18) Alshon Jeffrey vs Car
19) John Brown vs NO
20) Allen Robinson vs NE
21) Sterling Shepard vs Atl
22) Josh Gordon vs NE
23) Marvin Jones vs Mia
24) TY Hilton vs Buf
25) Devin Funchess vs Phi
26) Michael Crabtree vs NO

27) Marquise Goodwin vs LAR
28) Chris Godwin vs Cle
29) Taylor Gabriel vs NE
30) Calvin Ridley vs NYG
31) Nelson Agholor vs Car
32) Will Fuller vs Jax
33) Mohammad Sanu vs NYG
34) Albert Wilson vs Det
35) Sammy Watkins vs Cin
36) Corey Davis vs LAC
37) Dede Westbrook vs Hou
38) Keke Coutee vs Jax
39) Cole Beasley vs Wsh
40) Keelan Cole vs Hou

— Everyone is undervaluing Chris Godwin. The guy has caught a touchdown pass in four of his
five games played this year. Tampa Bay has been forced to throw the ball a lot, and it looks
like that will continue unless the team can establish a running game.

— I also like Sterling Shepard vs Atlanta. I know the Giants’ offense has struggled, but if there was a team to get your season back on track, it would be this week versus a depleted Falcons secondary.

— With Cooper Kupp out this week for the Rams, look for both Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods to be more
involved than they already are. Those two must be in your lineup.

TIGHT ENDS

1) Travis Kelce vs Cin
2) Zach Ertz vs Car

3) George Kittle vs LAR
4) Rob Gronkowski vs Chi
5) Eric Ebron vs Buf
6) David Njoku vs TB
7) Even Engram vs Atl
8) OJ Howard vs Cle
9) Greg Olsen vs Phi
10) Austin Hooper vs NYG
11) Jordan Reed vs Dal
12) Kyle Rudolph vs NYJ
13) Trey Burton vs NE
14) CJ Uzomah vs KC
15) Cameron Brate vs Cle
16) Geoff Swaim vs Wsh
17) Benjamin Watson vs Bal
18) Charles Clay vs Ind
19) Vernon Davis vs Dal
20) Antonio Gates vs Ten

— A lot of injuries this week to the TE positon, but a guy I like this week who is returning from injury is
second year man Even Engram. Like I said about Sterling Shepard, if there was one defense to turn
around your offensive woes, that would be the Falcons.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS
1) Chargers vs Ten
2) Rams vs SF
3) Texans vs Jax
4) Jaguars vs Hou
5) Vikings vs NYJ

6) Colts vs Buf
7) Cowboys vs Wsh
8) Eagles vs Car
9) Saints vs Bal
10) Ravens vs NO
11) Bears vs NE
12) Browns vs TB
13) Titans vs LAC
14) Panthers vs Phi
15) Bills vs Ind

— There have not been a lot of elite fantasy defenses so far this year, including the Jaguars. This is especially true in the last few weeks, where they have struggled. I’m still not going to bench them. They will start in all leagues, but they might not be a defense that was once considered plug-in-and-play guarantee.

KICKERS
1) Justin Tucker vs NO
2) Harrison Butker vs Cin
3) Greg Zuerlein vs SF
4) Dan Bailey vs NYJ
5) Stephen Gostkowski vs Chi
6) Will Lutz vs Bal
7) Graham Gano vs Phi
8) Robbie Gould vs LAR
9) Matt Prater vs Mia
10) Jake Elliott vs Car
