Here is how our fantasy football guru Jordan Goethe of Sportsfan 1330 ranks the  positions across the NFL for Week 12 as the playoffs begin for most leagues.

(Bye: Rams, Chiefs)

Quarterback
1) Andrew Luck vs Mia
2) Aaron Rodgers vs Min
3) Russell Wilson vs Car
4) Cam Newton* vs Sea
5) Phillip Rivers vs Ari
6) Tom Brady* vs NYJ
7) Ben Roethlisberger vs Den
8) Jameis Winston vs SF
9) Kirk Cousins vs GB
10) Andy Dalton vs Cle
11) Lamar Jackson vs Oak
12) Deshaun Watson vs Ten
13) Carson Wentz vs NYG
14) Nick Mullens vs TB
15) Baker Mayfield vs Cin
16) Eli Manning vs Phi
17) Ryan Tannehill vs Ind
18) Marcus Mariota* vs Hou
19) Case Keenum vs Pit
20) Blake Bortles vs Buf

— After a terrible performance last week, can you afford to keep starting Carson Wentz? No!  Wentz has only thrown for three touchdowns or more in a game twice this season. Even with missing two games to
begin the year, Wentz is not even a top-20 fantasy QB. Bench him if you have a better option.

— If you’re an owner of either Pat Mahomes or Jared Goff and you’re looking for a streaming option this weekend. Winston, Mullens, and Mayfield are the top three guys that jump out to me. Mullens and Mayfield have great matchups, both playing against bottom-5 defenses. But the one guy who has potential to score a lot of points is Winston. I know  he’s inconsistent, but the 49ers have allowed opposing QBs to
score more than 19 pts in 7 of their 10 games.

1) Melvin Gordon vs Ari
2) Saquon Barkley vs Phi
3) David Johnson vs LAC
4) Christian McCaffrey vs Sea

16) Dalvin Cook vs GB
17) Lamar Miller vs Ten
18) Jalen Richard vs Bal

19) LeSean McCoy vs Jax
20) Josh Adams vs NYG
21) Dion Lewis vs Hou
22) Kenyan Drake* vs Ind
23) Duke Johnson Jr. vs Cin
24) Isaiah Crowell vs NE
25) Frank Gore vs Ind
26) Gus Edwards vs Oak
27) Peyton Barber vs SF

31) Doug Martin* vs Bal
32) Mike Davis vs Car
33) Elijah McGuire vs NE
34) Nyheim Hines vs Mia
35) Giovanni Bernard vs Cle
36) Derrick Henry vs Hou
37) Wendell Smallwood vs NYG
38) Austin Ekeler* vs Ari
39) Javorius Allen vs Oak
40) Chris Ivory vs Jax

— Todd Gurley and Kareem Hunt owners are going to have a tough week, but guess whose back to starting fantasy relevance: Matt Breida and Sony Michel. Both look to return to the lineup this weekend. You can’t go wrong with starting players vs the Bucs defense, and with QB Tom Brady being banged up this week, the Patriots might have to lean more on the ground game vs the Jets.

— Who is Gus Edwards? I was asking myself that same question after last week’s game. Edwards really broke out vs the Bengals and he has been one of the hottest waiver wire pickups this week. I would still be very cautious with him for right now just because I don’t trust that Ravens RB group at all. Give him at least another week to see what he can do vs the Raiders.

Wide Receiver
1) DeAndre Hopkins vs Ten
2) Antonio Brown vs Den
3) Adam Thielen* vs GB
4) Devante Adams vs Min
5) Odell Beckham Jr. vs Phi
6) Keenan Allen vs Ari
7) TY Hilton vs Mia
8) Stefon Diggs vs GB
9) Ju-Ju Smith Schuster vs Den
10) Mike Evans vs SF
11) Jarvis Landry vs Cin
12) Julian Edelman vs NYJ
13) AJ Green* vs Cle
14) Tyler Boyd vs Cle
15) Emmanuel Sanders vs Pit
16) Alshon Jeffrey vs NYG
17) Doug Baldwin* vs Car
18) Josh Gordon vs NYJ
19) Larry Fitzgerald vs LAC
20) Courtland Sutton vs Pit
21) Devin Funchess* vs Sea
22) Sterling Shepard vs Phi
23) Tyler Lockett vs Car
24) Corey Davis vs Hou
25) Golden Tate vs NYG
26) John Brown vs Oak
27) Marquez Valdes-Scantling vs Min
28) Chris Godwin vs SF
29) Demaryius Thomas vs Ten
30) Danny Amendola* vs Ind

31) DJ Moore vs Sea
32) Keke Coutee vs Ten
33) Adam Humphries vs SF
34) Michael Crabtree vs Oak
35) Tyrell Williams* vs Ari
36) Christian Kirk vs LAC
37) John Ross vs Cle
38) DeSean Jackson* vs SF
39) Marquise Goodwin vs TB
40) DeVante Parker* vs Ind

— Both TY Hilton and Larry Fitzgerald can return to our starting lineups safely. Both have produced 4 TD catches in their last 4 games played, and we all know once Larry gets rolling, there are not many
defensive backs in the league that can stop him. Same goes for Hilton, especially when QB Andrew Luck is on fire, slinging the ball all over the field.

–When Carolina selected DJ Moore in the first round, we all knew once Moore learns that offense, he’s going to be very dangerous teaming up with QB Cam Newton and company. That has indeed been the case over the past few weeks. I like Moore’s potential going forward with all the opportunities he will be getting. Just look at his upcoming schedule: Saints twice, Falcons, Browns, Bucs and Seattle this week.

Tight Ends
1) Zach Ertz vs NYG
2) George Kittle vs TB
3) Greg Olsen vs Sea
4) Jared Cook vs Bal
5) Jack Doyle vs Mia
6) Cameron Brate vs SF
7) Rob Gronkowski* vs NYJ

8) Evan Engram vs Phi
9) Vance McDonald vs Den
10) Eric Ebron vs Mia
11) CJ Uzomah vs Cle
12) Kyle Rudolph vs GB
13) David Njoku* vs Cin
14) Jeff Heuerman vs Pit
15) Jonnu Smith vs Hou
16) Nick Vannett vs Car
17) Ricky Seals-Jones vs LAC
18) Chris Herndon vs NE

— The Colts TE discussion is probably one of the more interesting topics this week in fantasy. Eric Ebron played a dud game last week, scoring 0 pts, and he continues to get out-snapped by Jack Doyle. With two healthy TEs, I trust QB Andrew Luck to still get both of them the ball, but Ebron now might only see targets in the red zone.
