National Grandparent’s Day is Sunday, September 8th and the Discovery Center Museum is offering a great way to celebrate!

Grandparent’s Day is the perfect time to for parents and children to show love for their grandparents.

There are many things you can do to celebrate like plant a family tree, take your grandparents out to dinner or send a beautiful card or flowers. But the one thing Grandparent’s REALLY want on Grandparent’s Day is to spend time with the ones they love.

Why not take your Grandparent to celebrate at the Discovery Center Museum in Rockford!

The museum will be offering FREE admission for grandparents, as well as special art activities that highlight their roles in a child’s life.

Regular museum admission is $9 a person and is free to Members and children 1 year and younger.

The event runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and the museum is located at 711 North Main Street in Rockford.
