Garrett Greene, the voice of the Biloxi Shuckers, gives an update on the state of the Brewers' Class AA affiliate. The team is loaded with top Brewers prospects, but over the past week there has been major news and movement with trades, injuries and a plethora of Major League scouts hanging out with the Shuckers in anticipation of trades.
During the holiday break, Belvidere North senior Brianna Lake broke the school's record for career scoring, topping Taylor Martocci's mark of 956. Next up for Lake is the 1,000-point plateau.
After serving as athletic director at Rockford Lutheran for several years, Josh Sternquist is going home. The Belvidere graduate has been hired as an assistant principal and new athletic director for the Bucs, replacing Tim Ballard.
